2013 Audi R8 GT Plus to be unveiled at Le Mans

According a recent report from Autocar, Audi will unveil a GT Plus variant of the R8 at the Le Mans 24 Hours this weekend.
The supercar will be powered by a revised 5.2-liter V10 engine developing more than the 552 hp / 540 Nm of the 2010 R8 GT. The rear-wheel drive model will get a six-speed manual gearbox, while the all-wheel drive version is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The 2013 R8 GT Plus with the dual-clutch gearbox should can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, making it 0.2 second faster than its predecessor, and hit a top speed of 320 km/h.
A Spyder variant is also set to follow next year, but performance figures have not yet been announced.
