According to a report from What Car, Lexus is currently developing an IS coupe which will go on sale next year.
Details are limited, but this three-door coupe will look very similar to the LF-CC concept that debuted at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Engine options are expected to include a 2.5-liter V6 with 204 hp and a 3.5-liter V6 with 306 hp. There could also be a hybrid variant which uses a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain to create a total output of 220 hp.
In related news, the Japanese carmaker is also considering a high-performance IS F version. If the model goes into production, it could receive a V8 engine.
