Nissan has announced the 2014 GT-R Track Edition is currently available in the United States for $115,710, plus $1,000 destination and handling fees.
Limited to 150 units, the Track Edition "is designed to take the legendary street supercar even closer to a pure motorsports competition machine". It features a hand-made carbon fiber rear spoiler, a specially tuned suspension with higher spring rates and specialized Bilstein DampTronic gas pressure shock absorbers. Other highlights include carbon fiber air ducts, special brake cooling guides and lightweight black aluminum forged RAYS wheels with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST CTT ultra high performance run-flat tires.
Inside, the cabin gains two-tone Recaro sport seats and a lightweight quilted cloth mat where the rear seats usually reside.
Power comes from a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine which produces 545 hp and 627 Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed dual clutch transmission which changes gears in just 0.15 seconds.
