Mitsubishi has recently unveiled the production version of the G4 concept shown at the Bangkok Motor Show in March, named the 2014 Attrage.
Set to go on sale in Thailand in July, the Attrage is billed as a next-generation global sedan which will deliver "driving pleasure thanks to agility and pleasing driving dynamics". It has a prominent grille, an upward sweeping character line, sweptback headlights, small alloy wheels and chrome accents.
For the interior, the Japanese carmaker says passenger comfort is enhanced by the high hip point and "large door openings" which facilitate entry and exit as well as by its "generous rear seat leg space".
Under the hood, the Mitsubishi Attrage will be powered by a lightweight and compact 1.2-liter three-cylinder MIVEC engine with 78 hp, mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a continuously variable transmission. This should allow the car to return approximately 4.5-liter per 100 km (51.7 mpg US or 62.1 mpg UK).
