Hennessey Performance has recently introduced the 2014 VelociRaptor which is based on the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor.
The American tuner says that their VelociRaptor features a new rear end which can transform it from a pickup to an SUV. The model has an attractive appearance, despite getting some components from the Excursion. Meanwhile, the cabin completes with an optional third row that allows the car to carry up to eight people.
Other options include Brembo front brake upgrade, larger wheels and tires, LED lighting upgrades, bespoke interior and electronic upgrades.
"Over the past three years we have built nearly 400 upgraded Raptor trucks for enthusiasts around the world", said Don Goldman, CEO of Hennessey Performance. "We are now very excited to be able to offer the VelociRaptor SUV to those who like the Raptor but want more seats and space."
Under the hood, the VelociRaptor can be equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine which produces 600 hp, allowing the SUV to sprint from 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds.
Limited to just 30 units per year, the 2014 Hennessey VelociRaptor is currently available for order, but there's no word on pricing.
