According to the German carmaker, the special edition is available as a sedan, coupe or wagon and is distinguished by an exclusive radiator grille with high-gloss black louvres and chrome trim, plus tinted headlights and an "Edition C" badge on the wing. There's also an AMG body kit, chrome exhaust tips and 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin has two-tone sports seats, a dark aluminium trim and an 11.4 cm multifunction color display in the instrument cluster which includes the Attention Assist system. Customers will also get a multifunction three-spoke steering wheel, velour floor mats and contrasting stitching.
In Germany, the price for the Edition C package is €1,785, while the models already featuring the Avantgarde design and equipment line carry an additional charge of €1,011 (both including VAT).
In related news, Mercedes-Benz also announced the introduction of the C 220 CDI 4MATIC, an entry-level AWD C-Class which is available in either Saloon or Estate guise. It gains a revised Dynamic Handling package and an upgraded COMAND Online multimedia system with Live Traffic Information.
