Kia has just announced the 2014 Cadenza will have a starting price of $35,100 (excluding $800 destination and handling) when it goes on sale in the U.S. later this month.

According to the Korean carmaker, the Cadenza comes standard with leather seats, an Infinity 12-speaker audio system and an eight-inch touchscreen display with GPS navigation and UVO eServices. Customers can also order two option packages, Luxury and Technology, both of which advance value to new levels of sophistication.

Priced at $38,100, the Luxury package adds a full-length panoramic sunroof, Nappa leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, a seven-inch LCD instrument cluster, adaptive HID headlights and two-position memory setting for driver’s seat, outside mirrors and steering column.

Meanwhile, the range-topping Technology package costs $41,100 and adds 19-inch alloy wheels, an electronic parking brake, Advanced Smart Cruise Control, a Blind Spot Detection system and a Lane Departure Warning System. In addition, the front side windows feature hydrophobic technology, which repels water for enhanced visibility during rainy weather conditions.

Under hood, the 2014 Cadenza is powered by an all-aluminum 3.3-liter GDI V6 engine which develops 293 hp and 345 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.
