Ford has officially revealed the 2014 Cobra Jet Mustang, which is better than ever with exciting new features and more performance.
Designed to compete in NHRA Stock and Super Stock racing, the new Cobra Jet comes with an all-new three-speed race transmission with SFI approved housing, a parachute mount for racers exceeding 150 mph and two new exterior colors - flat black and Gotta Have-it Green. It also gets a race-tuned suspension, an electric power steering system, Recaro FIA race seats and a full roll cage.
Motivation is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 engine which has been equipped with a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger.
Limited to just 50 units, the 2014 Cobra Jet Mustang is available for order now at Ford dealers and production is slated to begin in July. Pricing starts at $97,990 plus optional paint and graphics.
