The first official images of the 2014 Cadillac CTS have surfaced on the internet, ahead of its unveil tomorrow.
As you can see, the all-new CTS borrows a few design cues from the ATS at the front. However, it also gets a few distinctive details, such as a prominent grille, a bulged hood and the LED headlights that are prolonged on the sides and incorporated in both the headlamps and fog lights.
Meanwhile, the only interior photo shows the passenger door with the high-end materials, including Alcantara, wood and leather trim as well as chrome door handle and polished aluminum.
Under the bonnet, the CTS has already been confirmed with a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine that develops 420 hp and 583 Nm of torque. It is mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission, which allows the luxury sedan to sprint from 0-96 km/h in about 4.6 seconds and hit a top speed of approximately 274 km/h.
Other engine options will include a naturally-aspirated 3.6-liter V6 with 321 hp and a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder with 272 hp. Both can be equipped with AWD as an option.
The 2014 Cadillac CTS will make its debut this week at the 2013 New York Auto Show.
