Land Rover has officially unveiled the 2014 Range Rover Sport at the New York Auto Show and we sent a photographer to take a closer look!
Described as "the fastest, most agile and responsive Land Rover ever", the all-new Range Rover Sport will be offered at launch with a choice of two engines, including a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine with 510 hp and a 3.0-liter SDV6 diesel engine with 292 hp.
The powertrain lineup will be expanded in early next year by the addition of a 258 hp 3.0-liter TDV6, a high-performance 339 hp 4.4-liter SDV8 diesel engine and a high-efficiency diesel hybrid model. All engines are mated to an advanced electronically controlled ZF 8HP70 8-speed automatic gearbox.
