Skoda has just revealed the 2013 Octavia Combi, ahead of its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show from the 5th to the 17th of March.
Compared to its predecessor, the wagon is 90 mm longer and 45 mm wider, while the wheelbase has grown by almost 11 cm.
"Our Skoda Octavia Estate offers rear-seat passengers lots of legroom - 73 mm in front of the knees - the highest in its segment. And at 610 liters, the size of the boot sets a new record for its class," says Frank Welsch, Skoda Board Member for Technical Development. With the rear seats folded, the boot space of the Combi increases to an impressive 1,740 litres.
Like the Octavia hatch, the estate also features a double-sided floor mat, net restraint system, multiple bag hooks, a waste bin and lots of bottle holders, multimedia device holders and an ice scraper in the fuel tank opening or the warning-vest holder under the driver’s seat.
No information about the engine lineup, but the Czech Republic carmaker says it is up to 17% more economical than the previous generation.
