Rolls-Royce is recalling 27 2013 Phantoms due to a problem with the fuel-filler neck, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
"The devices prevent misfueling and discharge static electricity," said NHTSA in its summary of the problem. "Without the anti-misfueling device, there is an increased risk of fire from static electricity."
The affected vehicles were manufactured from November 2, 2012 through January 18, 2013. The recall is underway and dealers will inspect the gas tank and replace any affected fuel filler necks, free of charge.
For further information, owners can call Rolls-Royce at 1-877-877-3735 or NHTSA at 1-888-327-4236.
