The 2013 Nissan Patrol turned heads at this year's Qatar Motor Show in Doha earlier this month. The new Patrol, which is only on sale in Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, and parts of Asia, including Southeast Asia, combines a huge engine and big-time towing capacity with the style and sophistication one might expect from a luxury vehicle. It's an SUV dressed up for the urban environment, but built to handle rugged, off-road terrain.
The four-wheel drive SUV comes equipped with a 5.6-liter V8 diesel engine and offers impressive shock-absorbing and stabilization features. And all one must do in order to adjust to varying surfaces - snow, rock, sand and paved environments - is simply push a button to activate the required mode.
This SUV can even tow up to 3,500 kg while drivers entertain guests with add-ons like leather seats, a 13-speaker audio system, a multiple-screen DVD entertainment system, and other fun amenities.
In the 2013 Nissan Patrol, you'll feel a little bit rock star. Even if it's hard work you're doing, and serious weight you're hauling, whether that's across town or up mountains, through deserts, or into jungles, there’s an unmistakable feeling of luxury.
Safety features are cutting edge and include a collision warning system that's intended to prevent pileups with vehicles outside of your sight-lines. If that wasn't cool enough, the Patrol's cruise control helps drivers stay safely away from other vehicles automatically, with a blind spot warning when you're about to veer into another vehicle's lane or another car is too close to you.
