Alpina has just released new details of the 2013 B3 Bi-Turbo, ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 5.
Based on the 2012 BMW 3-Series F30, the third-generation B3 Bi-Turbo is powered by a straight-six 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine that develops 410 hp between 5,500 rpm and 7,000 rpm and 598 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.
This allows the high-performance sedan to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 306 km/h. Aside from being more powerful than its predecessor, the new B3 is also about 20 percent more fuel efficient as it can return 7.9-liter per 100 km.
