To celebrate 30 years and three generations of the Caddy, Volkswagen has launched a special edition of the car in the United Kingdom, called the Edition 30.
According to the German carmaker, the Edition 30 is distinguished by a Candy White exterior with color-coloured bumpers, door handles and door mirrors. There's also a chrome grille, a contrasting black roof and 17-inch 'Budapest' alloy wheels.
For the interior, the Timo upholstery is standard, while models with DSG transmission feature Alcantara leather upholstery. Standard features include climatic air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, leather steering wheel, an upgraded RCD 310 radio/CD unit, electric windows, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, tailgate with heated rear window and wash/wipe, height adjustable driver’s and passenger’s seats, plus front fog lights.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter TDI engine which produces 140 hp, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. This allows the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 10 seconds and return 47.1 mpg UK (10.1 seconds and 44.8 mpg UK with the optional DSG transmission).
