According to a recent report by Autocar, the next generation Ferrari California could feature a new V8 turbocharged engine.
Slated to go on sale in 2014 or 2015, the new California will feature a raised hood line and extra cooling vents which could be a sign that the turbo engine needs more space under the bonnet and heat management.
The new V8 engine, which has already been developed by Ferrari, has just appeared in the new Maserati Qattroporte with the twin-turbo 3.8-liter configuration. According to the Italian supercar maker, this engine has been designed and built in Maranello at a new £40 million facility.
