Chevrolet has released the first image of the upcoming Sail sedan, which will go on sale in India later this year.
Just like its hatchback sibling, the sedan comes with a conservative style, but the spacious cabin will help it an advantage over the locally-manufactured Maruti Swift Dzire, one of its main competitors.
Under the hood, the Sail will available with a 1.3-liter diesel engine and a 1.2-liter petrol engine. However, the North American carmaker will not offer the 1.4-liter petrol choice.
Safety features include speed-sensitive automatic door locks, ABS, EBD, airbags, a collapsible steering system and side impact beams.
The Chevrolet Sail sedan will be priced at approximately Rs 6-7.5 lakh. It will also be offered with a 5 year or 1,50,000 km engine and transmission warranty and a 3 year or 1,00,000 km vehicle warranty.
