German carmaker Audi has quietly released another limited edition of the R8 for the Chinese market.
This special edition is dressed in exclusive Cool Nordic Gold paint with matte black trim and features titanium grey accents, 19-inch 5 twin-spoke 'Y' alloy wheels as well as matte carbon fiber on the mirrors, sideblades and rear wing.
Inside, the cabin comes with Alcantara sport bucket seats, shark skin leather knee pads and Cool Nordic Gold trim. Other highlights include carbon fiber door handles and an individually-numbered aluminum gear knob, which will be numbered from 1 up to 33 without number 4, 14 and 24.
Motivation is provided by a lightweight 5.2-liter V10 engine which produces 525 hp and 530 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system via an R tronic transmission, which allows the sports car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
Only 30 units will be produced and pricing starts at 2,628,000 Yuan ($422,820 or €317,435).
