About three weeks after unveiling the sedan and estate versions of the 2014 E-Class facelift, Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed the coupe and cabriolet variants, which will go on sale in the U.S. in Summer 2013.
According to the German carmaker, both models receive similar design enhancements as the sedan, including new bumpers, new one-piece headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights and a larger front grille with a thicker chrome surround. There's also new LED taillights, a restyled apron and large alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin gets a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel, an analogue clock between the two center air vents, an audio system and USB/Bluetooth connectivity, along with chrome accents and wood/aluminum trim on the dashboard.
"Three words suffice to very briefly characterize the Coupe and the four-seater Cabriolet: stunning, athletic, passionate," said Mercedes-Benz head of sales and marketing Dr. Joachim Schmidt. "Especially gratifying is that both cars also offer the most intelligent engineering that currently can be had. This makes both of them genuine dream cars."
