German carmaker Audi has recently announced plans to unveil the SQ5 powered by a TFSI engine at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show next week.
Specifically, this model will be powered by a 3.0-liter TFSI supercharged V6 gasoline engine which produces 354 hp between 6,000 rpm and 6,500 rpm and 470 Nm of torque between 4,000 rpm and 4,500 rpm. Power is sent to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system via an 8-speed tiptronic transmission, which allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
The 2014 Audi SQ5 TFSI will arrive at U.S. dealerships in the first quarter of this year and will be sold in other markets such as Canada, China, Russia, South Korea, South Africa, Singapore, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Ukraine. Pricing will be announced soon.
