Dodge has officially revealed the 2013 Dart GT, which will make its debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show next week.
Based on the Dart Limited, the GT version is distinguished by a reworked front grille, GT badging, body-color door handles and 18-inch aluminum wheels. There's also a dual exhaust system and a sport-tuned suspension with "frequency sensing damping shocks."
Inside, the cabin comes nicely equipped with perforated and heated, 10-way adjustable Nappa leather seats, a heated steering wheel, a backup camera and dual-zone automatic climate control. Other highlights include a digital instrument cluster, a Uconnect infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen display an optional Alpine sound system with 10-speaker.
Motivation is provided by a 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir2 four-cylinder engine which produces 184 hp and 236 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the wheels via a six-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed PowerTech automatic.
The 2013 Dodge Dart GT will go into production in the second quarter of the year and pricing starts at $20,995 (plus destination).
