The Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible has officially made its public debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

Dubbed the world's fastest four-seat convertible, the model is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 engine which develops 616 hp and 800 Nm of torque between 2,000-5,000 rpm. It is linked to an 8-speed ZF 'Quickshift' auto transmission and a permanent all-wheel drive system, which allows the 2,495 kg car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 325 km/h.

To improve handling, the Continental GT Speed Convertible is fitted with a 10 mm lowered suspension compared to the regular GT and comes with stiffer bushes, uprated anti-roll bars and dampers, along with revised air springs. For the chassis, the British carmaker has increased the width of the track and sharpened up the steering to make it more responsive.
