German carmaker BMW has recently announced the official pricing for the sixth-generation 320i at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
Set to go on sale in spring, the new member of the 3-Series sedan lineup is currently available for sale with a starting price of $33,445 for the rear-wheel-drive base model and $35,445 for the all-wheel-drive version.
Motivation is provided by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 180 hp at 5,000 rpm and 200 lb-ft of torque between 1,250 rpm to 4,500 rpm. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in just 7.1 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 209 km/h.
In terms of efficiency, the 2013 BMW 320i returns 23/33 mpg (city/highway) with the 8-speed automatic transmission and 22/34 mpg (city/highway) with the 6-speed manual.
