Volkswagen Golf Plus LIFE introduced for Europe

Volkswagen has recently introduced a special edition of the Golf Plus for the European market, called LIFE.
According to the German carmaker, the Golf Plus LIFE is distinguished by 16-inch Spokane alloy wheels, chrome rims on the air inlet grilles and the wording 'LIFE' on the wings. It also features tinted side/rear windows, an LED registration plate light and fog lights.
Inside, the cabin comes with heated front seats, climatronic control, self-parking, multifunction Plus display and a multi-function leather steering wheel. Further standard features include high-comfort seats in the ‘Matrixline’ seat fabric, a central armrest and leather gearlever knob and handbrake.
Under the hood, seven petrol and six diesel engines are available. The petrol engines deliver between 80 hp and 122 hp, while the diesels cover a performance range from 105 hp to 140 hp. Optionally available are BlueMotion Technology and and a six- or seven-speed DSG transmission.
The Volkswagen Golf Plus LIFE has a starting price of €21,200 for the entry-level version with a 1.4-liter gasoline engine. Compared to a standard model with comparable specification, customers will save up to €3,400 if they buy this special version.
