French designer Marc Devauze has recently created a futuristic single-seater Bugatti based on the brand's most successful racecar ever.

Called the TypeZero, the concept is inspired from the 1920's Type 35 which won over 1,000 races including the Grand Prix World Championship and Targa Florio. It's designed as a single-seater electric hypercar with four in-wheel electric motors and detachable lithium-air batteries located on either side of the driver.

The TypeZero is also envisioned having a racing suspension, no roof or windshield and a minimalistic interior constructed "like an old race car with an enveloping bucket seat stretched through the car."
