Last week, the BMW i3 Coupe concept has been spotted on the streets of Los Angeles.
"I was walking home from dinner in Downtown Los Angeles this evening and saw the new BMW i3 Concept parked on the street, possibly getting ready for a photo shoot?," said Alfred, a Carscoop reader. "I know the i8 Concept has been getting a lot of attention lately (most recent appearance here at the LA Auto Show), but haven't really heard much about the i3".
As we have previously reported, the i3 Coupe concept is powered by an electric motor which produces 170 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a single-speed transmission, while the lithium-ion battery pack allows the coupe to travel up to 160 km (100 miles) on a single charge.
