Ladies and gentlemen, this is the all-new BMW 4-Series Coupe Concept, which will make its public debut next month at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.

Basically a two-door version of the 3-Series sedan, the concept comes with several design tweaks which make it look sporty but elegant. Its wheelbase (2,810 mm) is 50 mm longer than that of the current 3-Series coupe, while 45 mm has been added to the front track (1,545 mm) and 80 mm to the rear track (1,593 mm). At 1,826 mm wide, the 4-Series Coupe is 44 mm broader than its predecessor, the roof is 16 mm lower and measures just 1,362 mm from the ground. It is also longer (4,641 mm).

The German carmaker installed a set of exclusive 20-inch light alloy wheels featuring a three-dimensional multi-spoke design. The 4-Series Coupe is also fitted with full-LED hexagonal headlights with a more tapered-back look and a new 'Angel Eyes' daytime running lights. There's also a larger air intake in the front apron, a sloping roofline, stretched taillights, two exhaust tailpipes and a rear apron.

Inside, the interior is based closely on the 3-Series Sedan and Touring models. Colors and material design have been developed by BMW Individual personalization service. They installed items such as the chocolate-brown Alcantara headliner, natural chestnut wood trim and plush leather surfaces.
