The Volkswagen Beetle 2.0 TSI has recently been launched in Malaysia for a starting price of RM219,888.
According to the German carmaker, the model is available with six exterior colours: Tornado Red, Saturn Yellow, Reflex Silver, Deep Black, Reef Blue and Oryx White. It comes with a panoramic sunroof which can be tilted or opened, bi-xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights, gloss black door mirrors and 18-inch alloy wheels. There's also a RCD 510 touchscreen audio system with an integrated six-disc CD changer, a two-zone electronic climate control system, cruise control, aluminum pedals and XDS Extended Electronic Differential Lock.
In addition, the car also features a "Sport Line" package trim which adds a four-link rear suspension, twin chromed exhaust pipes, a body-coloured rear diffuser and red brake calipers.
Under the hood, the Beetle 2.0 TSI is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 200 hp. It is mated to a six-speed DSG transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 223 km/h.
