Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG), which is known as Toyota’s AMG, has recently announced plans to introduce a high-performance Lexus LS 650 at the upcoming 2012 Essen Motor Show.
Speaking with Motor Authority, TMG spokesman Alastair Moffitt revealed that the prototype is officially labeled the TMG Lexus LS 650 and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 650 horsepower and 710 Nm of torque. This allows the sedan to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 320 km/h.
Additional information is limited, but the car is slated to feature an aerodynamic body kit with aggressive bumpers, extended wheel arches and a ventilated hood. There's also a trunk-mounted spoiler, tall rear wing, high-performance brakes and 20-inch unique-alloy wheels wrapped in large size tires.
