Mitsubishi has recently released the first image of the 2014 Outlander, ahead of its U.S. debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the U.S.-spec Outlander will be "among the most fuel-efficient compact [crossovers] with seven-passenger seating as standard". It will come with a number of new safety tech like lane departure warning (LDW), forward collision mitigation (FCM) and adaptive cruise control (ACC).
Joining the third-generation Outlander will be the smaller Outlander Sport Limited Edition, which is built to commemorate the brand's 30 years in North America. This car features blacked-out side mirrors, roof rails, wheel arches, center bumper and dark-chrome alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the engine is also equipped with a new balancer shaft in order to get better acceleration and improved performance.
