Nissan has recently announced the 2014 GT-R will receive a series of updates, which aim to improve engine responsiveness and high-speed stability.
According to the Japanese automaker, the twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine with 542 hp has been upgraded with new high-output injectors for improving mid- and high-rpm response, as well as a new relief valve which reportedly better-suppresses the loss of boost. There’s also a new oil pan baffle designed to maintain pressure and reducing friction.
The GT-R’s suspension will receive new dampers, springs and front anti-roll bar for lowering the center of gravity, while cam bolts have been installed on the front suspension to improve camber accuracy and stability when cornering.
The 2014 Nissan GT-R will go on sale in Japan on November 19, and next year, it is scheduled to hit Europe and the United States.
