The 2013 Volkswagen Bora, which is made by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture, has recently launched in the Chinese market.
Based on the PQ35 platform, the facelifted Bora borrows some of its styling cues from the U.S.-spec Jetta like the chrome inserts and angular headlights. Inside, the cabin comes with a lot of chrome and wood details, along with navigation system, audio system and automatic climate control.
Under the hood, the 2013 Bora is powered by a 1.4-liter TSI gasoline engine that produces 122 hp. This engine is also equipped with the BlueMotion technology which includes brake energy recuperation and stop/start. It is mated to a standard six-speed manual gearbox or an optional DSG dual clutch transmission.
Price will range from 100.000 yuan ($16,044) to 150.000 yuan ($24,066).
