Samsung has recently released the first official images and details of the 2013 SM5 facelift. The high-end version will wear Samsung SM5 Platinum moniker.
The aesthetic updates include a restyled front bumper, a new look for the LED taillights, various chrome insertions on the window frames, grille and fog lights, LED daytime running lights, new wheels and updated color palette with new colors.
Inside, the changes are minor, but the carmaker did say that quality has been improved. The cabin will feature an uprated multimedia system, vision 360 system that allows you to control all four sides of the car and a tire pressure system.
Under the bonnet, the engine lineup remains the same but with some revisions to lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The base model is powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 140 hp, mated to an X-Tronic CVT with ECO function. There’s also a 2.0-liter dCi with 150 hp.
The same changes are expected to be applied to the Renault Latitude facelift.
