Porsche has recently announced plans to unveil a "new compact sports car" at the LA Auto Show at the end of this month. Although the German carmaker hasn’t confirmed just what model we’ll see in Los Angeles, but most likely the 2013 Cayman.
Accordingly, the new Cayman is expected to receive an updated exterior styling which will be inspired from the 2013 Boxster. The entry-level Cayman will be powered by a 2.7-liter flat six engine with 261 hp, while a Cayman S will receive a 3.4-liter flat-six with around 325 hp. Both versions can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 5.4 and 4.7 seconds, respectively, when equipped with the seven-speed PDK transmission.
