After receiving a bunch of negative press when the 2012 Civic launched earlier this year, Honda has recently released the first images and details of the 2013 Civic facelift, ahead of its debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 29.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the updated model features a new more sculpted front end fascia with new bumpers, a black honeycomb mesh grille, new headlamps and additional chrome trim. There's also a deeper surfaced hood, new taillights and updated alloy wheels.
The engine lineup is expected to be carried over from the outgoing version, but Honda confirmed the 2013 Civic will benefit from some chassis tweaks which will improve the car's "fun-to-drive nature".
