BMW has officially revealed the 2013 M6 Gran Coupe for a select group of customers at a private Nurburgring event. According to the German carmaker, the hot four-door coupe is the ultimate mix between the recently launched M6 and the 6-Series Gran Coupe.
The model displayed at the event has 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and track-focused M ceramic brakes. The front and rear bumpers are lifted straight from the M6 coupe and convertible.
Motivation is expected to be provided by a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 552 hp and 502 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which allows the car to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 4.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 155 mph.
The 2013 M6 Gran Coupe will go on sale in summer of 2013, following BMW's official unveiling in December 2012. The car will make its first public appearance in January at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
