In a recent interview, Porsche AG board member for sales and marketing has revealed the Panamera Sport Turismo concept may get a green light for production.
Speaking with Automotive News, Bernhard Maier said "it is getting more likely that we will do such a car." He added the car will be displayed at customer clinics in the United States and China to gain additional feedback.
As we have previously reported, the Panamera Sport Turismo is powered by a plug-in hybrid system which combines a 333 hp supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, a 95 hp electric motor and a 9.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. The system's total output is 410 hp which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than six seconds. In pure electric mode, it has a range of more than 30 km and can reach speeds up to 130 km/h.
