German carmaker Volkswagen has recently announced plans to introduce the Beetle 53 Edition in Spain.
Inspired by the iconic Herbie character from the 1968 film "The Love Bug", the special edition features a white exterior with tri-color body stripes, unique 17-inch alloy wheels and '53' badging on the hood and even on the glove box.
Under the hood, three engines are available, including a 1.2-liter TSI engine with 105 hp, a 1.6-liter TDI with 105 hp and a 2.0-liter TDI with 140 hp.
The Beetle 53 Edition will go on sale in the second quarter of 2013 and pricing starts at €22,090.
