The organisers of the 2012 Sydney Motor Show have confirmed an Aston Martin One-77 will make its Australian debut at the Convention and Exhibition Centre on October 18.

"I am very proud and excited that an Aston Martin One-77 will be on display at the 2012 Australian International Motor Show", said the event’s director, Russ Tyrie.

Each One-77 takes about 2,700 man hours to complete by a team of 27 technicians who assembled the car by hand. In Australia, Aston Martin’s ultimate production car has a starting price of $2.5 million after local import costs and taxes.

Power comes from a 7.3-liter V12 engine with 750 hp and 750 Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed transmission, allowing the 1,500 kg supercar accelerates from 0-96 km/h in 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 355 km/h.
