ABT Sportsline has recently released new details about their AS3, which is based on the new Audi A3.
Previewed earlier this year, the AS3 features a new front spoiler, a revised grille and new aerodynamic side skirts. At the back, we find a rear diffuser, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a sports exhaust system. The car rides on 18- or 19-inch alloy wheels.
In the official press release, the German tuner said "If there is one car that defines the premium standard in the compact car segment, it certainly is the Audi A3. And if it comes to sportiness and dynamism, the benchmark is the ABT AS3. For the new series of this successful model, the engineers of the globally largest tuner of cars produced by the Volkswagen Group have been most successful: The engines are very torque and powerful indeed".
Under the hood, all engine versions has been tuned. Now, the 1.4-liter TFSI can produce 170 hp, the 2.0-liter TSFI can develop 280 hp, while the 2.0-liter TDI can create 180 hp or 210 hp.
