2013 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid priced from $24,995 in the US

German carmaker Volkswagen has recently announced pricing for the 2013 Jetta Hybrid in the United States.
Set to go on sale later this year, the entry-level model will have a starting price of $24,995 (excluding a destination charge of $795) and features daytime running lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, power windows with one-touch up/down, audio system, automatic climate control, Bluetooth connectivity and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Moving up to the $26,990 SE variant adds LED taillights, keyless entry access with push-button start, power recline front seats, Media-Device interface (MDI) and iPod cable, SiriusXM satellite radio and a touchscreen infotainment system.
Meanwhile, the $29,325 SEL comes with all the aforementioned equipment and adds a sunroof, a better audio system with navigation, heated front washer nozzles, heated front seats and 16-inch alloy wheels. Lastly, the $31,180 SEL Premium features bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, foglights with cornering light, active front-lighting system and a Fender audio system with subwoofer and a rearview camera.
All versions are powered by a 1.4-liter TSI engine and an electric motor, producing a total output of 170 hp and 249 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 9.0 seconds and return approximately 5.2 L/100km (45 mpg US / 54.0 mpg UK).
