The 2013 Renault Clio will have a starting price of £10,595 when it goes on sale in the UK on November 1 with first deliveries will start from February 1, 2013. Compared to its competitors, it's £200 more than the Ford Fiesta Studio and £1,455 less than the Vauxhall Corsa.
Standard equipment includes Bluetooth and USB connectivity, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), ETC (Electronic Traction Control), a Bass Reflex speaker system, side and curtain airbags, Hill Start Assist, electric front windows and door mirrors, an adjustable steering wheel and keyless entry. In addition, customers can also order a panoramic glass roof for £350 and metallic paint for £460.
At launch, three engines will be available. A modified version of the 1.2-liter 16V engine produces 75 hp, emits 127 g/km of CO2 and returns 51.4 mpg. A new 900cc three-cylinder petrol emits 99 g/km of CO2 and returns 62.8 mpg in ECO guise. A 1.5-liter dCi engine develops 90 hp, emits 93 g/km of CO2 and returns 83.1 mpg in ECO guise.
