After the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo facelift has been released at the 2012 Paris Motor Show a few weeks ago, the first images and details of the 2013 Gallardo Spyder have now hit the web.
According to the British carmaker, the roofless version will receive the same updates as the coupe version. It comes with a "New Gallardo" logo in the front bumper, a rear bumper with trapezoidal apertures, a wide-stretching diffuser with six individual fins, polished exhaust tips and 19-inch Apollo alloy wheels with a matte black finish.
A Style Package is available as an option and offers high-gloss black paintwork on the underside of the front spoiler, front and rear grilles and the transverse element of the rear trim.
Under the hood, power still comes from a 5.2-liter V-10 DOHC engine with 552 hp at 8,000 rpm and 398 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm. With the addition of the heavier roof, the performance numbers will be slightly lower than in the coupe version, which accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 201 mph.
The 2013 Gallardo Spyder and Coupe, along with the Edizione Tecnica, are expected to go on sale in November.
