Korean carmaker Kia has recently announced plans to offer the 2013 Cadenza/K7 on its home market next month.
The facelifted model will borrow some of the styling cues seen on the flagship Quoris/K9, such as a redesigned hood, updated trunk lid, new front and rear light clusters, Kia’s "tiger nose" grille, revised bumpers and side air vents in the front wings. Meanwhile, the interior design is also expected to get some new tweaks.
Additional information is limited, but the Cadenza/K7 can be powered by the same 3.5-liter V6 engine as the current version, producing 290 hp and 338 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission which allows the sedan to accelerate from 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 143 mph (230 km/h).
