Infiniti has recently announced that the 2013 QX56 is currently on sale at dealerships with a starting price of $60,650 for the rear-wheel-drive version and $63,750 for the all-wheel-drive model. All prices include $990 destination charge.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the new SUV has been added the Moving Object Detection (MOD) system to the standard Around View Monitor. It also gets standard auto-dimming exterior mirrors, a new Smoky Quartz exterior color and and an upgraded remote control and interface for the optional Theater Package ($3100). This package includes dual 7-inch monitors, heated second-row seats, two pairs of wireless headphones, auxiliary input jacks and remote tip-up second-row seats.
Under the hood, the 2013 QX56 is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine with 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox, allowing the car to tow up to a maximum of 8,500 lbs.
