In a phone conversation with Edmunds, Kyle Bazemore, an Infiniti spokesman, said the 2013 FX Sebastian Vettel Edition will not be sold on the American market. He cited "regulatory" issues as the main reason for not selling the high-end car here.
The Japanese carmaker has recently confirmed the production green light and pricing for the car. Only 150 units will be offered in Western Europe, Russia and the Middle East, with sales set to start from March.
The FX Sebastian Vettel, the powerful vehicle in the history of Nissan's premium division, has a starting price of $154,906 (€120,000 at the current exchange rates). It is available only in Moonlight White, while the carbon-fiber rear spoiler is the only option.
