2013 Ford Focus ST coming to China next year

North American Ford has recently announced plans to offer the 2013 Focus ST in China next year.
According to the the local media, the new Focus ST will be imported to China from an European factory and is expected to be more expensive than its main rival, the Volkswagen Golf GTI, which costs 300,000 RMB.
As we have previously reported, the 2013 Focus ST, which starts at $24,495 in the United States,is powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 247 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. The power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 6.5 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
