In an interview at the Paris Motor Show, Audi’s President of US Operations Scott Koegh has revealed the 2013 RS5 Cabrio will go on sale in the United States in the first quarter of 2013.
No official details on the price list have been announced yet, but we know that the car has starting price of €88,500 in Germany, where it will also be launched early next year.
As a reminder, the new RS5 Cabrio is powered by a 4.2-liter V8 engine with 444 hp and 430 Nm of torque. It is linked with a 7-speed S tronic transmission and a rear-biased quattro AWD system. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.9 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h).
