Japanese carmaker Lexus held its first-ever LFA owners event at the Laguna Seca Raceway on August 23, 2012. Scott Pruett, pro driver, give some helpful hints to 16 owners as they try their hand at one of the most prestigious race tracks in the United State.

As a small reminder, the LFA is powered by a 4.8-liter V10 engine 552 hp at 8,800 rpm and 354 lb-ft of torque at 6,800 rpm. Ninety percent of torque is available between 3,700rpm and 9,000rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed ASG transmission, allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed is 325 km/h. Meanwhile, the Nurburgring Edition is a special lighter version with more horsepower and a more track-biased setup.
