Toyota Auris Tourer and Verso coming to Paris

Toyota has recently announced that the new variants of the Auris family will make their debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
Expected to be 40 kg lighter than the predecessor, the all-new Auris is powered by either 1.3/1.6-liter petrols or a 1.4-liter diesel. While the Hybrid version will come with an upgraded Hybrid Sinergy Drive system with an increase of 1.5 hp for each g/km.
Set to compete with the Ford Focus Estate and the Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer, the Auris Tourer Estate will be the first car in its class to get a hybrid powertrain.
Meanwhile, the Verso MPV will have more dynamic styling, an upgraded interior and a re-engineered 2.0-liter D-4D diesel engine.
In related news, the Japanese carmaker also announced that the 2013 Yaris Trend, Toyota Racing TS030 Hybrid WEC race car and the FCV-R fuel cell vehicle will also be presented in France on September 29.
